Swarm Intelligence Swarm intelligence is the scientific discipline that focuses on the collective behaviour resulting from the local interactions of individuals with each other and their environment. Tonight, Professor Dorigo (Professor in Artificial Intelligence, Université Libre de Bruxelles) discusses interesting social insect behaviour and describes various computer science and engineering applications inspired by such behaviour. 8 p.m. Venue: Aula, Minderbroedersberg 4-6.
